My friend sent me this note on root canals so may be worth a try as it has been suggested I have them done, but not motivated however to try this form of treatment. Here goes with my friend's writing here: =========================================================== Here is what i have done for root canals. First of all, clove oil helps with the pain. Secondly, make a paste of tea tree oil and yellow dock powder. You can buy yellow dock capsules and open them to make a paste. Dab all over gum and tooth, front and back. Tastes horrible, but my naturopath had me do this and i got to reverse a root canal!! They are expensive and painful! ======================================== Any thoughts on remedy? carolg

Does she mean reverse a root canal after it's already been done (any damages resulting from one), or reverse problems with the tooth so that a root canal is now not necessary? When my cat Oreo had that oral tumor last summer the vet had me add yellow dock to his Hoxsey formula, because it is a good herb for mouth problems.

Suzi, At this point, I am willing to try all. My chiro. gave me these homeopathic white little pills I have to take 3x day. I don't know it's name, but he said for some it has reversed their abscesses. I have not had any pain related to absesses however and really don't know they are present except through the dental xrays. carolSuzanne <suziesgoats@...> wrote: Interesting combo.. I understand the tea tree. But have not used yellowdock.. here is what I have found.. What have you got to lose Carol by trying it?? Yellow dock has been used traditionally as an "alterative" herb, a herb that has general tonic effects. Yellow dock specifically helps the digestive tract, liver, and skin. One of its primary uses is for skin conditions

caused by poor digestion, poor liver function, or toxic accumulations. Yellow dock has a mild laxative effect, due to constituents called anthraquinone glycosides. It stimulates bile and digestive enzymes. I bet it's Fragaria. There seems to be very little information from a google search and I've left my materia medica in Pennsylvania, but Fragaria is a standard remedy for teeth.

Janice, Who knows if paste will work, but worth a try and probably cheaper than dentist although something could be going on with the dental work previously performed. I have not done the paste, as I have to go buy the yellow dock still, but working with rubbing and/or brushing with Dr. Schulze Tooth and Gum liquid--a formula he makes up but Suzi said in our database. Regardless, give it a try and let us all know. Best to you. The bump you described could be an abcess as I have a bump too and told it was just that. Not saying it is but could be. Look for Sharyn's post as there was info. at one of her 3 links that directed me to a remedy for abcesses you order-$13 bottle. Dental school I was considering newly trained graduating dentist thought not using flouride was absolutely crazy, so he's another preacher out there for his patients advocating yes to using flouride. Going the more natural way however

is absolutely outrageously dental care through these type of dentists. I can't figure out why as it could save many of their lives not being exposed perhaps to using this bad stuff on a daily basis, but still I may have no other option then replace vacations with dental work that is crucial to health. I hate to eat healthy and then kill myself with the poisons or diseases breeding in my mouth. Horrible choices, but reality of type of dentists I have to choose from is out there. Best to you. carolgjanicesp11 <janicesp11@...> wrote: It took a while for me to find the beginning of this thread...anyway I have a related question. If one already has a root canal and the surrounding gum area has become sensitive, will this procedure using tea tree oil and yellow dock paste work to

clear the sensitivity? Some history, I had a root canal over 5-6 years ago and this particular tooth is somewhat sensitive to touch (if I tap on it or bite down hard I can fell a very slight sensation that I do feel with any other tooth) and a few months back the gum area above the tooth became red and tender. Then a week or so after that a bump appeared, sort of like a canker sore. The sore has gone away, the redness too almost, but the area is still not normal. And at one point when brushing my teeth there was a little bleeding at this particular gum area, which too has stopped. So I wonder about using the paste as mentioned above to aid in healing? I can't afford to have the tooth pulled and a bridge and the tooth is in a prominent area when I smile.Of course at the the time of the root canal I asked the dentist if there was another choice because I had heard they were not a good idea. She assured me everything would

be fine...of course what else would she say. She also said flouride was a good idea and wouldn't work on me unless I agreed to have x-rays! Other than that she was really good at what she did. Thanks, Janice>> My friend sent me this note on root canals so may be worth a try as it has been suggested I have them done, but not motivated however to try this form of treatment. > > Here goes with my friend's writing here:> ===========================================================> Here is what i have done for root canals.
