Guest guest
I was thinking of going to the dental school locally and someone on another list saw my post and wrote me a note that cancelled my decision now. Perhaps it can help others. I am about 90 minute drive from this clinic she recommends and she went to. It definitely is a consideration and need call their office up this week. Here's her note without a name..... =================== "Dr. Hal Huggins does not practice dentistry any longer. The state ofColorado took his dental license away - at least 6 years ago I believe, because of his refusal to follow the main-line amalgam treatments. He now runs the Huggins Recovery Program in Colorado Springs, where he consults with patients on their hair analysis and blood work results, recommends an individualized supplement program, runs them through a week of classes and lectures, and shepherds them through the dental revision process. The office that does the actual dental work for Huggins Recovery Program patients is Orofacial Pain Therapeutics, with Dr. Ellingson, Dr. Hastings, and a third dentist. They're at 5925 Lehman Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80918, 719-594-9198. They don't appear to have any official business ties with the Huggins center, but they follow the Huggins protocol for dental revision and work closely with Dr. Huggins' office. Dr. Ellingson is along-time friend of Dr. Huggins.I had 8 amalgams and 14 incompatible resin fillings removed and replaced in June by Dr. Hastings using IV conscious sedation. I would highly recommend him. I had no contact with the Huggins Recovery Program. You should know that elements of the Huggins Recovery Program differ markedly from theprotocol that Dr. Andy Cutler recommends. If you want any Huggins materials, you can order them from www.hugnet.com or from his office. You should definitely have biocompatibility testing for replacement dental materials, which will tell you what you are compatible with if you need fillings, partials, crowns, etc.. The Huggins center and the dentists at Orofacial Pain Therapeutics use Scientific Health Solutions, Inc. in Colorado Springs at 800-331-2303. They have a web site.Yes, you can save money at the dental school. However, traditional dental treatments can ultimately cost you far, far more in medical costs to treat the effects of dental poisons. ================== www.mercuryexposure.org Wow, a whole bunch of info. Found in search for Scientific Health Solutions. www.drhuggins.com is for Dr. Huggins which is referenced above. carolg
