Garlic wrap

It always amazes and confuses me how Brock gets sick so quickly. He

rarely ever gets sick but whenever he does he goes from fine to dieing

in about an hour.

Yesterday morning he had a little bit of a runny nose and was unusually

tired. I thought he was okay so I went to work. A little mad at his

daycare - he got quite sick last night with a fever and she never so

much as called me. But he had caked on snot all over his face so if she

wouldn't even wipe his nose why would she call me? (different vent

altogether)

His runny nose had turned into a fever, vomiting, congested head, loud

rattling cough.... My little guy was a zombie when I got home. His nose

was like a neverending faucet. He just kept crying; he was so miserable.

So I did a garlic wrap on one of his feet and before he went to sleep

his head was completely cleared up so he could breathe (probably why he

finally fell asleep) but he still had a loud snore/rattle in his lungs.

An hour later no more snoring!

The weirdest thing though - I put the garlic wrap on his left foot and

last night while he was sleeping he felt hot - but only on his left

side.

Anyways... He slept through the night w/out even needing his nose blown

and is up running around playing today. No fever, no more puking, he has

a little bit of a runny nose and seems tired but I'll be pumping him

full of orange juice and Children's Echinacea so he should be fine.

I love garlic! It amazes me every time how quickly it attacks

mucous!!!!! In your nose, in your lungs...... It's like an anti-booger

army at your disposal. And my favorite part is if you have a finicky

eater - they don't even have to EAT it!

: )

The answers are already within us. The tricky part is matching them with
