I had the big bandage on for about 4 days, had to be on a liquid diet and was on pain med…Still had packing in and felt pain the second week….It takes several weeks, at least, until you feel a little better. Many ops take a good few months before final results can be assessed. After the first week the worst in terms of post-op pain and discomfort should be over though.
