Our daughter, Jane, and , our exchange student from Kazakhstan, returned

home late Thursday night from an incredible experience at The Painted Turtle.  A

million thanks should go to Joanna , our executive director, for her

hard work in all that she has done to ensure an incredible experience at this

awesome camp.  Jane served as a " leader-in-training " and enjoyed being a

camper.  I must confess that initially was reluctant to participate--he had

just been in our country for a couple of weeks before camp--but Joanna assured

me that he would be fine!  Not surprising, he was smiling when he got off the

plane.  Several hours later, Jane got off her plane with an even bigger smile.

While slept on the 2 hour ride home, Jane kept Jack awake with stories and

antics and people from the camp.  Asked when we got home whether both would

return to camp, and the answer with a resounding " yes! "

Jane is entering her second year as one of her high school's drum majors, and

she said that this experience was the best leadership training she'd ever had.

Many, many thanks....Joy
