I think most people want their processor to try to match their skin color. Lee

I also didn't want to replicate my hearing aid color as I will be so glad to put that away! We are all so different in our reasons so it really will be interesting to see what you choose! Guest guest
Hi , I did look at all the colors and I do like the silver myself. It looks kind of classy. My hearing aids are black though and I like them because the match my hear color. I am by the way and am having the Nucleus implanted sometime in January. Good luck with whatever color you choose. How time flies! <<Re: the 3G speech processor, which color combination would you like. they come in 4 primary colors (Brown, beige, silver, black). the cable coil can be one color and the body of the speech processor can be another color. they can be the same also. In addition to these base colors, the 3G also comes with 13 standard battery cover colors. this should be in the info I mailed to you or online at cochlear.com If you could let me know your color preferences that would be great. >>

Guest guest
Hello, I am glad you mentioned that. I am and hello. I am getting the silver most likely when I get the Nucleus 24. I don't think I am scheduled for surgery until Jan. But I am glad you said that about the hair dye. I was wondering what would happen if I dyed my hair before the surgery and how long I would have to wait to dye it again after the surgery. It is something I do pretty often. Guest guest
I love the Black one. It matches everything. Which one are you leaning toward, ? Wasn't that an exciting e-mail to get? Imagine that - you are now getting to choose the color! It sounds like your surgery date is going to be very soon if they are ordering this for you. Guest guest
, I like the 3G to be the same color as my hair. I like to wear my hair cut short so the brown 3G is less noticeable. Now I hoping they would come out with a silver and brown zebra stripes as my head is really turning fast. Either that or I'll have to use more dye next time :-). But has everyone noticed if the scalp area is more irritated with hair color dye? Dee _____ From: Kozlik [mailto:lisak70@...] Sent: Wednesday, November 10, 2004 2:01 PM Subject: 3G Colors? Guest guest
Hi Alice, Yes...my audi said that the surgery department will be contacting me any day now. I'm so excited! I couldn't help but smile after I read my audi's e-mail asking me which color I wanted for my 3G. I selected silver but may opt for black instead. Hmmm. Even though I'm totally blind, I'm very interested in color coordination. I can't wait to match my 3G to my wardrobe. LOL! CI surgery approved!! Guest guest
LIsa, The silver is very pretty too. I have one of both.. black and silver and I very often wear the black covers on the silver processor and vice versa. It looks very pretty. Guest guest
Lee, Having a brown coil to match your hair color is a great idea! My hair almost comes down to my waist, so I'll have plenty of hair to cover up the 3G and the coil. LOL! CI surgery approved!!
