Guest guest
Dee, Zebra stripes sounds like a cool idea! How about neon or glow in the dark colors? Being a " child of the 80's, " that's something I could really get into. LOL! CI surgery approved!!
Guest guest
BTW, some of you may not know that the external magnet also comes in colors. I found this out when I needed to temporarily exchange the usual magnet for a stronger one that would stick to my head better. I have a silver processor and coil. When the new magnet was inserted, my audie told me she was sorry but all she had available in magnets was a beige one! So, I departed with my new processor and a silver coil with a beige magnet in the center of it!(whoooooo TACKY!!) Guest guest
--Since I am bilateral I have my left 3G in beige (original implant) and my right 3G in black with the head coils in beige. My backup 3G is in beige. Next time my head coils break down I will get that in brown to match my hair. The main reason I got the 2 different color processors was to tell them apart on my brain and because I thought black was so dashing. It is.... and matches a lot of my clothes when I am not working Snoopy
Guest guest
Hi and thank you for the good wishes. I think I had a choice of hearing aid colors with this system. It is a phonak sona fortey system with two microphones in it. I got them 8 years ago. I was so happy with them. I can't use them anymore though they are useless to me but I liked having the black ones. It is a sharp looking system. I only wear the one now to hear my own voice. Other than that it is useless In fact I always thought I would be wearing hearing aids and I was thinking of getting a new pair in red. But now it is too late for that. I am glad now with the CI we have a lot of choice of colors.

Guest guest
, How many e-mails have you gone through this morning to find out that I've *still* chosen silver? LOL! If you say I won't be sorry I picked silver as my color, I trust you. On second thought, maybe I should choose brown in honor of all the mochas we've been drinking over the past several months? <grin> Surgery date: 12/22/04 Re: 3G Colors? > > , > So I see. Guest guest
, I don't think you'll be sorry you chose silver either.. I have silver and it just has kind of a classy look to it.. Actually, anything that to me hear.. even if it was the ugliest color on earth.. would have been acceptable to me.. but since I DID have a choice...I really like the silver. Guest guest
, I am happy to see you still have chosen silver. LOL Choose a brown coil in honor of our most favored pastime....mochas. I have very long hair but would go completely bald if it meant that I could hear again. On a somewhat similar note, two or three years ago my audiologist commended me for not being embarrassed to wear an FM system, external microphone and direct audio input Y-cord with my HAs. She continued to explain how some of her clients were quite self-conscious about their hearing aids -- even after several years of wearing them. I told her, " I don't care how much equipment I have to carry around with me just as long as I can hear. " Surgery date: 12/22/

Guest guest
.....ROFL at you. Now that does sound like a promising strategy, especially when asked, why don't you try wearing a hearing aid? Guest guest
, Me, strange? I wouldn't necessarily disagree with that conclusion. Hehehehe. I've been told many times that I have a wacky sense of humor. LOL! If you're familiar with the vintage Dr. Demento of the 70's and 80's, that should give you an idea of how strange I really am. Guest guest
, I could echo that Beware right back atcha! We need to get together and compare notes over mochas. Speaking of which, I have that all to familiar craving. So am going to run to the store (might as well get some groceries huh) and while there, get me a mocha. What shall it be? Spiced Orange. Cinnamon Roll Latte? Or Mocha Almond Fudge? Decisions decisions. And while sipping away, eavesdrop. LOL *---* *---* *---* *---* *---* Hard work never hurt anyone, but why take the chance. & Gimlet (Guide Dawggie) Portland, Oregon N24C 3G 8/2000 Hookup rlclark77@... http://home.comcast.net/~rlclark77/
Guest guest
, I can see the " tough " dilemma that you're in and I know exactly how to get rid of it: pick all 3! Better yet, why not open up your own Starbucks? That way you can have all of the mocha flavors you could ever dream of. (You can even share half of your profit, err, I mean mocha flavors with me!) Guest guest
, I settled on the Mocha Almond Fudge. Its always a winner. But opena Starbuicks? Good lordy no! Too many of them and no one will remember you from the 1000's of them. Moonstruck Cafe is the much better choice. So you want to be my partner, aye? Good idea!
