Guest guest
I think that most of you on this list are NOT seniors but you know them and they are your parents, etc. Here is a wonderful free service for seniors 65 or older who have not seen an opthalmologist in 3+ years and do not belong to an HMO or the VA. Eye Care America sets you up for a free eye exam with an ophthalmologist who has volunteered for this program. He will give the exam and treat for free for one year. He will not provide free eye glasses. Write to www.eyecareamerica.org or call 1-800-222 Eyes (3937) they will send you an info packet and set up an appointment for you in your area. Please pass this on to others. My appointment is tomorrow - Monday 8/23. I had 20/20 vision but lately I have had trouble reading the fine print in the phone book. Looking forward to finding out what my problem is. Will let you know. Anne VA USA
