Add it to your juices or in a salt substitute. Guest guest
I recall reading somewhere that carrot tops are closely related to parsley (which makes sense looking at them, and also looking at parsley's roots, which is largely a taproot...) --- Murray <doublaswalter@...> wrote: > I am going to throw out a very simple question. > Does anyone, know of using the fresh green carrot > tops for a vegetable greens? ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ 8:00? 8:25? 8:40? Hi Doug, I've heard the carrot greens are actually toxic from some juicing sources, but it didn't mention the toxic element. This source below list them as 'mildly toxic': http://www.mnpoison.org/mnpoison/pdfs/Plant_guideJan04.pdf Cheers, Wally
Guest guest
I just glanced through the lists and there are several very nutritious foods in bother lightly toxic and toxic categories. Anyway I had a good feed of carrot top green night before last and never had any symptoms of anything. They were delicious. Cheers, Doug Re: Carrot Tops > > I am going to throw out a very simple question. > Does anyone, know of using the fresh green carrot tops for a >vegetable greens?
