Oh sorry, to me more clear, my hearing went back to the point where I can barely hear out of my ear that I had my surgery on.

At the risk of asking a question that's already been discussed, I'd like to throw this out there.

Background:

Surgery 2 weeks ago today. Tympanoplasty Mastoidectomy with a relplaced Incus.

Question:

Yesterday, I blew my nose by accident...it wasn't hard blow. I did it just by habit. Anyway, the hearing in my bad ear was really good after after that. Better than it has been in years. Anyway, now the hearing is back to the way it was after my surgery. Does this sound right?

Thanks for any input you folks may have. If this question has been asked before, please accept my apologies.

The same thing still happens to me, years later after surgery. My hearing is

pretty good, but a good sneeze will " open it up " and I'll have better hearing

for a bit, then it drops back down to normal. If your surgery was just two

weeks ago, then your hearing should gradually improve. Mine took about 2 months

after surgery until it reached it's normal level.
