Guest guest
.. I am still in denial about the PA....keep thinking it will just > go away... Hi, I hear ya! I have had this since 1993 with things getting progressivly worse until i had to stop working this past June. I still am in denial to a certain extent. There are days when I think things that make it seem like I think it will go away. I have to bring myself back to reality and acknowledge that it won't. I have the " why me days " too. Having one today..( see my previous post). I KNOW that it will never go away, but I think it is normal to have days when you want to beleive it will. As long as we really are truthful to ourselves and deep down know it won't. TRYING to keep the faith,
Guest guest
To the list: We were contacted by someone from the Sally Jessy Raphael Show about a show they are taping next Tuesday. felt he has had enough of media visiting the house or now, so we won't be participating, but they told me that they would have some people on the show with OCD. If anyone has any idea of when the show might air, maybe you could post it. Thanks, Jackie
Guest guest
Just very quickly in regard to Edgar Cayce, I was advised to have my dreams analyzed using his interpretations in order to access my " doctor within. " I do believe in trying whatever works, but I will not be pressured into spending $1500 for an Edgar Cayce interpretation of my health problems. I will not do hypnosis, channeling, or other various approaches to getting physically well as some people do. I have been pressured quite a bit to do many dubious treatments and frankly I could cry a bucket of tears over my frustration and the expense put into it. To say it makes me a bit upset to think that a health expert once advised me to get my tarot cards read to find out why I wasn't getting better...and I could go on and on. Guest guest
Hi all, All this talk about having more kids.......Lately I've been struggling with some of these same thoughts and appreciate everyone's honesty. I was 34 when I had the twins (32 when I had Logan) and am now 38. I know my odds of having another baby with DS are sky-high. Is it awful to say that if Eli didn't have DS I would definitely have another kid or two but with the quantum shift our life has taken I probably won't? (Right now our $$ situation isn't there, anyway, husband started a new business house too small bla bla bla.) Eli is a great kid, he really is, but it's that damn chromosome that's gumming up the works. So right now if someone asked me " are you done " I'd say " can't say yes, can't say no. " I loved being pregnant, and I've only done it twice. Oh, who knows. The bottom line is even if we decide to have more it wouldn't be today, so I don't have to decide anything!! (Besides, with the hours my husband is keeping with his new business it would be damn near impossible, ha ha!) Guest guest
Hi Sara, I saw Lori Overland today. She said she's especially interested in working with a child who is from birth to 2 years old, maybe up to 3. After that it might get more difficult to work with the child in front of a crowd! So if you know anyone, have them e-mail Lori at oromotorlo@... Thanks!! debbi

Mr Obie did not bad mouth anyone to me, but we did discuss the importance of chelating properly -- especially for our kids who are so sick to begin with. Just my experience. Guest guest
Not so, I have had great success. As to the rumour mill, I want to know how to convert delta 6 properly, not buy her products, that is something I can go an investigate, I just need the fatty acid info. I think that paper is updated to the point where it makes a useful read. Parents always decide after that. Guest guest
Hi, We had the same problem with our son Zeb. I breastfed him, so I went on a dairy free, no fish, no nuts, no lots of things diet. After 8 mo he refused breastmilk, so I put him on a special diet formula containing " broken up " peptides. He did well on that. There are some very very allergic kids, who don't even tolerate this. I know a special formula exists for them too. As I live in the Netherlands, I don't know any brand names. Over here they are manufactured by a company called NUMICO, which has companies in the US as well. Some babies react to sugar as well. I've heard of parents giving a bit of sugar to stop the crying. This usually makes things worse in the end... Good luck. And it does get better. My son is six now and he can eat cheese. No sugar though. > > Message: 24 > Date: Sat, 15 Sep 2001 20:45:22 EDT > From: Rhons44@... > Subject: Re: Off topic: Dairy/soy free baby formula?? > > Janet, My son was like that. Where did you have artificial arteries implanted? What does your diet consist of? What medications are you taking and for what? Other than this problem how is your health? Are you using any natural remedies at present? Not knowing any of the above I would suggest that you work on building your immunity back up. Lots of fresh garlic will help. Also echinacea tea or tincture will help. Astragalus would be good too. We can probably give you much more information and or suggestions after we find out some of the more pertinent details about you and your dietary and lifestyle habits. Peace be with you Shirley. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
