Guest guest
I drive two different vehicles, a 1981 Brownish Chevrolet El Camino and a 1994 Blue Ford Ranger. The El camino just needed a false floorboard and my dad to make extended pedals. The ranger only has extended pedals. It's also lifted (I'm a taller lp @ 4'6 " so this isn't a problem)
Guest guest
I have a " Night Fire Red " Mini and I LOVE it. I'm 4'4 " and use the same pedals my mom had made when she was in highschool, they clamp on to the existing pedals. BUT the steering wheel tilts and telescopes, the seat moves back and forth and up and down. A few friends chuckle and say under their breath.. " You know... it's kind of funny that you are driving a mini. " But I don't care. It's a great car. Reliable. Get's amazing gas mileage.. and it's a ton of fun. -Jeana On Tue, Mar 8, 2011 at 4:55 PM, Wood <zeromidget@...> wrote: > > > I drive two different vehicles, a 1981 Brownish Chevrolet El Camino and > a 1994 Blue Ford Ranger. > > The El camino just needed a false floorboard and my dad to make extended > pedals. Guest guest
Cars are funny. Sometimes it makes no sense what we drive (to others) and sometimes they fit our personalities perfectly. I drive a Mini convertible, and I also have a 1973 VW Super Beetle. I am 6' tall. My LP best friend drives a full size Dodge Ram pickup truck. The Ram fits his personality PERFECTLY! Guest guest
i drive a hundai (spelling unsure), elantra, which is small enough and economical with homemade extensions too. however, i used to know an lp lady who drove one of the bigger SUVs and to me it just seemed tooooo cumbersome for all she had to do just to get into the thing. she had a bench, like one foot high and flat with a hole in it, and in that hole she had a rope threaded thru it, so that after she got into the SUV she would then loop the rope onto her grabber or cane, i forget what now, and then lift the bench off the ground to swing it behind the driver's seat, and then close the door IF she got it RIGHT on the FIRST try, MANY times she did not. NO thanks, that's much too much to do for me to get from Point A to Point B. ~grady
