JinMei Canal Wall Down update

Well it is now the day after JinMei's (8) surgery & boy, she is really having a

rough time! Considering this was her 10th Cholesteatoma related surgery & about

20th surgery overall, this is really going badly. Since her cholesteatomas keep

growing back, they did a canal wall down like they had already done in the other

ear, which had gone well. This time she is still nauseated. Still not a happy

camper. Usually she is fine within a few hours. She is not in pain. She is

sleeping alot. Time will make it better, I guess. Hopefully by the time we are

supposed to fly home to Alaska Sunday. She NEVER complains. But this time she

keeps saying " I don't LIKE this! "

Poor baby girl. That is exactly how my last surgery was. The first 24hrs were the worst for me...I couldn't get over the nausea for some reason as well. I had so many spearmint candies and saltine crackers during that time along with the promethezine...the hospital kept trying to push fluids they said it helped push the anesthesia out of my system faster...whether or not that is true IDK but I did start drinking tons of water and some juice. Thankfully she isn't having pain. Will pray she gets to feeling better here before your trip back home.
