This isn't a testomonial as I can't give one. Yet. Anyway, I have been dealing with these problems (assorted) for at least 7 years. I have been on lots of different meds with no many of them working. The one that worked the best I had for a while and then all of a sudden the Ins quit paying for. I have been searching and learning about Thyroid problems, getting tested and almost started the meds by myself. I used to be really into great health, vits, mins, herbs, natural products, fasts and so forth. I have been slowly getting back into this. I joined this list and have received lots of good info. So, it was between doing the change-your-life as suggested here or buy the thyroid meds and start on them myself. Guess what I decided to do? yep, start with the life-changing-stuff. I feel much more confident about this

than I did about the thyroid meds. I do believe we can heal ourselves but it takes so much more than just wishing. I came so close to just ordering the meds instead of getting to the base of the problem. I am anxious to start feeling the results of putting into my body what we are meant to put in. This feels "right'. Tough, but right. I am hungry!!! :) D

===============================================

You can never go wrong by taking responsibility for your own life. You

can only do right by yourself in this respect. We grow up believing that

others know about our health better than we do. Guess what, they don't

know much more than you do and much less about your own health than you

do. Medications, herbs, potions and lotions, EO's and various diets do

not cure the problem. They will only handle the symptoms. If you don't

find the root cause then you are only throwing bandaids at the problem.

The various meds, herbs, diets and whatnot can help bring your body back

into a semblance of balance but then you need to take it further and

change your outlook, diet, lifestyle and thought patterns, for all these

have a very direct influence on your health.

Yes it is tough trying to figure out how to go about handling your own

health. You have to do a lot of research. The data is out there, believe

me. But you need to do the research and then you need to do the work

entailed on healing yourself. Finding out what does and doesn't work. A

person will never go wrong by fasting, cleansing, juicing, or eating

predominantly raw. Looking within you will eventually find all the

answers you seek. We all need to learn to listen to our bodies demands.

We also need to learn to listen to our instincts or intuitions.

Good choice Deborah. I really don't think you will ever regret it.
