I assume with the implant idea becoming more favorable, am I thinking correctly in saying that root canals would not be needed and the implantswould take the place of doing root canals? The regular dentist was looking forward to several upcoming extractions but seems that is not needed work to have the general dentist do? I am going to see if general dentist has recommendations for oral surgeons who I was told is best to choose for implants. I suppose the oral surgeon could take care of the extractions if needed? Now with the teeth that already have been pulled in past, I can still have implants? Thanks, but very little education on this topic for me. A whole new world.. carolg
