Hey there,

I work out regularly and though I'm not an achon (my 6 month old son

is) I've been thinking about this too. I use calipers to determine my

percentage of body fat. Currently I'm somewhere between 10-12%, which is

pretty good for a 40 year male. I started using calipers to prevent myself

from chasing the needle on the scale. If you know your body fat is where it

needs to be, and if your heart rate is good, then your weight will better

reflect changes in your muscle mass (smaller changes are usually water

weight). Here's an informative website -- hope this helps.
