Guest guest
Okay, this wasn't the smartest thing I could have done, but hey, I was 21 (at the time, I'm 23 as of last Friday) so probably somewhat naïve. Anyway, my dad had two different kinds of snow shovels and it hadn't snowed too heavy (mom and dad at work, college closed b/c of the heavy snow) so I thought I'd shovel...spent an hour doing it and by the time I was done, I looked out and hadn't even really made a dent. This was before my three osteotomies (the last one being a success last week) so I was semi-more mobile. This is also (true story) part of what made the decision to go to seminary in the midlands of SC (Cola.) easier than say, Columbus, Gettysburg, or Dubuque (IA) .
