Guest guest
Hi, I have had several episodes of what I believe to be extremely low blood sugar- just wondering if anyone else has had this. I am not sure what brings it on- but when I am awake- my mind goes numb, I have intense sweating, I am almost incoherent- usually needing assistance to walk- then I become extremely tired and fall into a deep sleep. Sweat literally drips from then ends of my hair- and have tried drinking pepsi- eating something sugary- but it doesn't really seem to help. Usually I wake up about 3-4 hours later and I am back to normal. It is pretty scary. I have looked up low blood sugar on the internet and these are considered moderate symptoms. What I read says that if your stomach empties too rapidly you can have this problem. I am wondering if this is common for gastric bypass patients.
