Ok-

I am now at the stage that I can eat normal foods in moderation/well chewed. (5

weeks post op)I have my first fill on Mrch 23. I'm down 20 pounds. However, last

night I blew it. I had a cup of green beans for dinner prepeared for me, chicken

nuggets and french fries for my kids. You know it... I had 4 chicken nuggets, 8

french fries AND my green beans. Wait I'm done done yet... then I had three

girlscout cookies later in the evening. First time I have cheated!

Now here is my concern... I am back on track today and will walk extra for those

extra calories I had last evening, but I felt fine.

I handled the food easily and felt NO restriction. I did feel full/satisfied,

but like if I really wanted to I could keep on going(like the old me)..

Please advise me/assure me that the fills is what provides the largest source of

restriction and not the band itself.

Most important PLEASE!!!!!!!

give me a run down on the quantity/portion/amount of food you can/do eat after

being " filled " . Like a whole chicken breast or a half....

This site is by far the most supportive group of women/men I have ever

encountered and I wish I could meet each and everyone of you in person. Through

my tears and inhabitions I have looked through each and every email and found

many with the same questions/concerns, each with a caring response. Thanks so

much for being my rock!!!
