Guest guest
Don, what's your take on this?? I've never heard of such a thing...well, a colon flush, yes, but not like this. Sharyn P.S. to tempo33x...a gentle reminder to please trim your posts. Thanks! -----Original Message----- From: health [mailto:health ] On Behalf Of tempo33x What you need is a colon flush- Heat one quart of distilled water, or better yet, Colloidal silver, to LUKE WARM, dissolve in it one tablespoon of sea salt, -not white salt, and drink it all down, it will bypass the Kidneys and flush out the entire digestive tract, -no more gas, but stay home that day, near a toilet. (It's not as bad as you think.) This is what I do.
Guest guest
Sharyn - This salt water flush looks like a step in the " Lemonade Diet " . I tired it once in the 10-12 days I was on the Lemonade Diet and all it did, within less than a minute of drinking down the quart of salted water, was make me throw up violently. I never tried it after that, LOL - At 02:56 PM 1/14/2007, you wrote: >Don, what's your take on this?? Guest guest
Me too, . And I think it says you can do the salt water flush OR the laxative tea. I chose the tea! Shari
Guest guest
I didn't gag. I got the entire quart down but by the time I walked across the kitchen it was coming back up - in a projectile fashion, LOL. Once was enough for me. I still don't quite subscribe to the theory that your body doesn't absorb the salt in the water. Guest guest
Well I will tell you Sharyn, I have done said colon flush, sans CS, several years back. It does produce a gag reflex for certain and I can understand why would toss it all up. It also does produce the blowing out effect from the other end. The reason this works is because salt is toxic. That much salt in the body is not good for anyone but it does blow it out the arse for sure. The body does not want that much salt in it which is why it works. The salt doesn't produce the effect the body does in trying to get rid of it. So it will either come up one end or blow out the other. Personally, there is no need to attempt to kill oneself with salt in trying to clean ones colon. The body is perfectly capable of cleansing itself without the foolish ministrations of the ego. There are herbs that will do a much better job of assisting this process while at the same time offering up nutrients, and helping to heal, soothe and maintain. Why use something toxic like salt. And a gentle reminder to me to trim my posts too. Sharyn E. Cerniglia wrote: > Don, what's your take on this?? Guest guest
Well the salt does go into your body but it serves no purpose other than damaging it. It also comes right back out after a fashion too as it serves no useful purpose in the body. Landes wrote: > > I didn't gag. Guest guest
I actually had an MD (medical doctor) tell me about ten years ago not to eat salt in any form. For years I've used sea salt instead of regular table salt. Since being on this list and trying to change the food I eat and the way I eat, I've stopped using any salt at all. I don't know how much of a build up of salt we have in our bodies, but things I've noticed since I stopped using sea salt are: my fingers and feet don't swell from time to time like they used to, and I've noticed a dramatic difference in the way my eyes look. I must be extremely sensitive to salt because when I don't eat it I have eyelids, LOL! Yesterday I visited a friend and she had a huge pot of lentil soup on the stove. I really didn't feel like eating it but ate a small bowl (you know how it is when you visit a friend and you don't want to hurt their feelings, LOL) Well, right off the bat I noticed the saltiness of the broth. I only ate about half a cup of the soup and I think I felt the effects of the salt in more ways than one. I had a hard time sleeping last night - I kept waking up because my lower back was hurting. This morning when I woke up I was floored when I looked in the mirror - my eyes are puffy all the way around but my eyelids are twice their normal size. I don't think I need anyone telling me anymore not to eat salt. At 03:54 AM 1/15/2007, you wrote: >Well the salt does go into your body but it serves no purpose other than >damaging it. Guest guest
Welcome to the effects of salt. No body really realizes just how toxic salt really is until they go completely off of it for several months and then eat something with salt in it. Same goes with sugar, caffeine, other stimulating foods, etc. Go for 3 - 6 months without some of those foods and then try them again. You will notice a major difference. Congrats on going without the salt. All the sodium and chloride ions your body needs will come from the raw greens and fruits that you consume. There is no need for salt in anyone's diet. However, it is all personal choice in what we choose to believe and what we choose to eat and how we choose to think, feel and live. My hat is off to you girl. Well done. Guest guest
You know my mom raised us without any table salt and I can’t stand the stuff. Took me around 6 months to get the hubby off it after we married and my kids can’t stand it either. I think people get used to it and don’t realize how much poison they are ingesting. Just a theory of mine.
