He was the lp child that was in a the adoption case of whether a single ap mom who had him since he was 14 months as a foster child vs. an lp-lp couple seeking to adopt him due to his and their being lp. That was settled, I think, more to the lp-lp couple dropping the pursuit more than the court deciding it out, but this article goes beyond that to now, present day, where Elijah has been legally adopted officially bearing the same last name as his foster mom.
