Diane;

Send him the picture of my stones. Granted it's just a couple of the hundreds I have gotten out, but it should show him that it is possible. My own doctor was shocked at the results I've gotten. Let him know that there are others that have gotten stones to dissolve and or come out. He's just stuck and it's understandable. He hasn't likely seen the success that we have here.

Granted too, he's right about all the possibilities that having stones can lead. You do have Cholelithiasis and the possibility of it turning to cholangitis which is deadly. I was there too and who knows it may be that I may have it all come back but as of my last ultrasound I'm clean. My follow up doctor, after the attack February 11th 1999, wanted me to schedule an appointment to have my gallbladder removed just two weeks after the discovery of the stone.

I'm of the firm belief, from my own results, and the results of others, that it very possible to overcome the gallbladder's problem with having gallstones. It takes the resolve to change the foods eaten to those that support liver health, exercise, and then cleanse the liver and gallbladder.

Subject: What we have to face

From: totustuus@... Dear list... I need some encouragement. My father-in-law sent me e-mail today. He is a very good RN. Very medical minded. His medicine cabinet isfull of drugs for every occasion. Help! Here is what he said whenhe found out I refused surgery:Dear DianeI feel obligated as a family member to let you know that I was verydisapointed to hear that you did not go through with your surgery. Ithink that your socalled "support group" is doing you a great disservice and harm inadvising you as they did, against dr's orders etc. The gallstone youhave will notdissolve or break into smaller pieces!! If you continue to try thetreatment they suggest for you, you will be going through six monthsof total misery thatwill be many times worse than any surgery you may have to have! Notonly that but also you should consider the trials you will put yourfamily throughwhile you are going through all this misery!!! I will quote to you from my newest medical book written by Dr. J. O'shea, MD, Chief of the Biology Section of the National Instituteof Health,Bethesda, land: "Cholelithiasis (The problem you have) may lead to cholangitis, obstructive jaundice, pancreatitis, and secondary biliary cirrhosis, cholangitis, especially inthe infectious form may progress to septic shock anddeath.....!!!!!!!! Gallstone ileus may cause bowel obstructionwhich can lead to intestinal perforation, peritonitis, septicemia, secondary infection and septic shock.........The simple surgery does not compare to the problems that you mayface!! Mother Barbara had her gall bladder removed about four yearsago and she wentin for surgery in the morning and I took her home that afternoon!!!!Well, I feel I have done my best to convince you that you are headingdown the wrong path..... I hope you will take this to heart, we loveyou and do notwant to see you become severely ill. Your caring Mom and Dad Love you

Thank you so much for your encouragement. I really needed it. Sometimes these

types of people can really intimidate me and make me doubt myself and my

convictions.

Where are the piccies of your stones? Can you e-mail them to me? I will send

them to him and hopefully it will calm him down. Blessings and peace.. Diane

Dear Dale,

I would like to add to my last message that I have been on a very good liver

friendly diet. I have been doing it for about 9 weeks now. I love it and have

no intention of ever going back to the way I ate before. In a couple of days I

am going on a 10 day lemonade drink cleansing fast. I am hoping this will

completely cleanse my whole system and also eat away at that gall stone. After

the fast.. a couple of weeks later.. I will attempt another flush. Hope it

works. Peace and blessing to you and your family... Diane

I'm sorry for your lack of support. I on the other hand was raised by a

Chiropractor who has devoted 50+ years to the study of natural means to cure

and help the body. He had a severe attack and hurt so bad he said okay on

the surgery. It didn't make him feel much better. His wife had the same

thing and he found what he could on herbs and flushes and she has been fine.

He still has do do flushes because taking out the gallbladder wont cure the

problem.

I ended up in emergency. Thought I was having a heart attack. It was a

gallbladder attack. I was about 28. They wanted to do surgery within a few

days. I told the surgeon I wanted to get a second opinion. I was lucky

enough to find a MD that believes in natural means first. He told me not to

have it. My chiropractor had me try products and a cleanse. I thought I was

fine but didn't change my diet. about 3 years later I had anothe bad attack

but at least I knew what was happening. The Dr sent me for ultrasounds to

confirm and then gave me some pain pills in hopes that I would get through

the night. I was so surpised that she didn't push surgery. This attack was

so bad that I almost consented. I was so sick and spend 2 days on the

internet and found this site and Hulda's flush. When I told the nurse that

my chiropractor wanted to try something natural first she said that the Dr.

would agree because they have seen success with the Eastern methods and

treatments using natural medicines. I was shocked. That attack was a year

ago. I've had a few small ones since but I've gotten educated and am

learning to change my diet and add EFA. I found that with some attacks if I

actually took a Tble spoon of flaxseed and it went away. I still don't eat

as bad as I should be since I try not to skip meals now that has helped.

Sorry to be so long.

You need to go by your gut feelings. I have a lot of friends that had the

surgery and still have problems. The few that our happy with the results are

those that had actually had a gangrene gallbladder and not stones. They

were constantly sick but never with pain attacks. Once your gallbladder is

removed you can't replace it or the function it does. It works with the

liver. Do we know what stress it may cause the liver? Have they done any

test to see if there is a corolation between gallbladder removal and higher

chance for liver disease? you can't live without liver. If someone does need

the surgery they need to really do the flushes to keep that liver in shape.

Just my .02. A lot of people think I'm wrong for refusing surgery but I'm

still going and not worse for not doing it.

Good luck

Diane

Thanks so much for all your support. I don't know what I would do without this

support group. It is so nice to be able to get on here and read how you and

others are coping with this shared problem as well as pooling our experiences,

knowledge and resources. I felt so much better after reading your caring

responses to my negative e-mail from my father-in-law. It is funny how little

things like that can start you doubting your convictions and wisdom. I will let

you know how my lemonade cleanse works out. I am hoping for a very clean liver

and hopefully all that lemon juice will have a distructive affect on my

gallstone. After the fast I will try the flush again. Perhaps a week or two

later. Anyway.. I will keep you updated.

Health and peace to you .. Diane

Dear Diane, it is very scary to think that death could occur. Those words

he used scared me too! I have done 7 flushes so far and the last flush got

out two large stones that were about an inch across. Never felt a thing.

This group is what keeps me going and continuing in my quest for better

health. I learn things everyday. I never had an attack and was diagnosed

with several moderately large calcified stones. I have gotten out hundreds

of stones. Good luck.

That's my BEST advice.

I have one like that too.

Be well,

-I am trying to do that as much as possible. I am still going to stick with my

6 month plan. Right now though I am on hold because I broke out in a terrible

allergic rash. I have never had this before and it is burning and itching like

mad! I don't think it is related to the gall stone problem, but one thing at a

time. I have to get over this before I can concentrate on the gallstone. Right

now they have me on benedril and prednesone. I hate drugs and try to avoid them

at all costs.. but this burning itch all over my body is more than I can bear.

Peace and wholeness... Diane

Nope.. I am taking no vitamins at present. My bragg diet has been giving me all

the vitamins that I need. This is just a complete mystery. I am still itching

and burning all over. I have so many different anti-itch stuff. It is

starting to look less inflamed.. but it still burns and itches as much.
