Guest guest
Thaks Sharyn... trying not to take it... they couldn't understand me not taking the morphine..... I only take it when I can't stand the pain any longer... and then only a 1/2 dose. been doing vitamin waters, juicing apples, carrots, pears, drank some s soups in a can/glass.. that makes the DH happy that I'm eating... and the dr... started back on my liquid glucosomine, cal mag, ST , as I get stronger I can do more...need to find my wild lettuce tincture and see if it really works for pain. Yep, leave it to me to be the odd one out... had no clue it would be this bad... probably better I didn't. I have ups and down times... this is the first I've felt like writing at all .."Sharyn E. If you have any Arnica in the house (homeopathic remedy for trauma and bruising, shock to the system, and anesthesia), take it ASAP. I’m sorry I didn’t think to tell you to take some *before* the surgery and to have it in the house for after. Love you! Guest guest
These surgeries are never the piece of cake one thinks. Yes, do be careful with the pain meds. Start in on some Nerve tonics and teas to help heal the damages caused by the surgery. Also wouldn't hurt to maybe drink some sleepy herbal type teas too to help keep you down. Might help keep you from taking so many meds. DO NOT use any ice packs on it. Cold wet towels yes but no ice packs. The ice will slow down the healing too much and may even keep healing from properly occurring. If I think of any more bright ideas I will pass them on to you Suzi. Guest guest
Well Suzi, We are truly sorry that you are having to take so many drugs. But due to the headache and nauseousness. Most likely all of this comes from the ministrations of your surgeon. So maybe a few of us can get together, and come up with something that might just help you back on your feet and ready for your daily life. Guest guest
my girlfriend is taking me to HFS tomorrow (i think) to find arnica. The drs nurse said some of the pain in my shoulder blade could be pockets of gas that are trapped yet... wonderful// as she wonders what else..... I found out I can go for a 20 minute ride.. I'll find the arnica ..Don Eitner <mysticalherbalist@...> wrote: You might also consider using some Rescue Remedy or some such BachRemedy for this.
