Okay, but don't tell anybody how dumb I was.........used the juicer, cleaned it and got distracted putting it back together. That night I made apple juice and only apple chunks were spewing forth. Stuck my finger up there to see why. Why? No screen in place and my finger touch the spinning blades (oh, I didn't mention it was still running!!!). Took my finger to the bone. ER doc laughed and asked why I came. Said there was nothing he could do, no place to stitch. That was one of my "duh" moments! Went home and called a couple people and they both suggested golden seal and honey. It was not very painful after the initial shock and it has healed very nicely, thank you. There's just the tiniest numb spot at the very tip.

I did an evil thing once. I saw it on TV. My step son was over and

our garbage disposal wasn't working, and he said he'd take a look.

While he had his hand in it, I pressed the button on the coffee

grinder. I laughed so hard I almost peed myself. He totally freaked out.
