Guest guest
Dear Tammy, That's terrific! Thanks for posting and sharing your NSV with us all. I haven't got a whirlpool tub, but I AM looking forward to the day when I can sit comfortably in my regular sized bathtub and take a long long lavender bath in the evening, instead of standing in my shower. My husband is also morbidly obese- not yet ready to do anything this aggressive about it, but I have noticed that he has started skipping the second portions, asking for just chicken or seafood and salad for dinner, and having fat free yogurt for a snack if he wants something, instead of having ice cream or what would amount to another meal. I am silently applauding him, but waiting for him to speak about it before I bring it up. ANyway, because of my husbands and my own weight, our 6 year old has pretty much had the tub to himself his entire life. We grownups only use the shower. Timmy thinks it has something to do with " once you get too old, you have to stand up, right mom?, because if you sat in the tub, you could break something " . I think he was thinking like a HIP, like greatgrandpa- I was thinking " yes, like the BATHTUB, but I cannot wait for the day when I tell him to haul all of his boats, ducks, squirt bottles etc out of the way- MAMA is going to have a bath.
