I switched from Gatorade to Elite water ( _eleteâ„¢ Pure Electrolyte Add-In_

(http://eletewater.com/) ) because I couldn't take the sweet taste in my

mouth. I put it in my water or crystal light and find it much easier to stay

hydrated. I sure don't miss the sugar in Gatorade. It left a sweet taste in

my

mouth I just couldn't stand. I felt like my teeth were rotting out of my

head. LOL You need to buy the pocket size bottle to carry with you and then

the

16oz size to refill the small bottle with.

It is 4.99 for the small bottle and 35 dollars for the 16 oz size that makes

48 gallons of electrolyte water. It sure saved my life. Hope this helps

with staying hydrate. In fact this helps you stay hydrated better. Just read

the web site. God Bless you.

Congrats on the new job, ! I've heard great things about the

Atlanta area.

Regarding fluid retention: are you still drinking a lot of Gatorade? If

so, and if you are getting plenty of sodium in your diet, you may not need

as much of the Gatorade or other e-lyte enriched drinks. I had to stop

Gatorade (with my surgeon's blessing) because it was making me " puffy. " I

just think some of us are more salt-sensitive than others. Even after the

surgery, if I have a salty meal, I will notice water retention the next day,

particularly in my hands. I just don't seem to need much, if any, added

sodium above and beyond what I ingest in food. (but I like salty foods)

Just a thought...might want to check into it.
