ah... Life insurance!  We had the same problem with Amelia when she was 6 months

old - we tried to get some through that Gerber Life Grow Up plan.  They sent us

the same lovely letter.  So I as the mother got mad and wrote back a nasty

letter telling them that they really should check their info. on Achon. kids

'cause they did not all have the same issues and they certainly have great life

spans.  I received something back to the effect they could reconsider if I got

some statements etc from Amelia's doctors.  So we sent them everything including

her medical files and they decided it would be ok to risk it with her.  Her

coverage is the same as my son's and only about 8 bucks more per year. 

Sometimes you just have to scream a little louder.
