I has this happen. blue Croos blue shield denied me

but aetna accepted me

j know I pay a little extra but

it wayyyyyyyy cheaper than cobra

No, however my group insurance refuses to cover anything that could possibly

be related to the MGB (or any other bariatric procedure) including anemia,

etc. They send me a letter every year reminding me.

Did you have to disclose your MGb, a surgery that you had almost 7 years ago?

The health questionnaires that I have seen for individual insurance policies

only goes back 5 years. At least here in Washington State they do. Maybe your

state is different. And if you have had no complications due to your mgb in

that time period, how could they deny you? I'd appeal that decision.
