I am researching myself.  I met with Dr. Nawada in Winter Haven.  Nice fella and

seems well-qualified.  I just wasn't comfortable with his prices or his bedside

manner.  I will be meeting with Dr. Doran Stark in Lakeland soon for a

consultation and will let people know how it goes.  There is also a

recommendation for

Dr. Rotatori in Winter Park, FL who has operated on MGB patients.

Joyce, there's a wonderful plastic surgeon in Orange Park, Florida. His name

is Weiss. He has done several MGBers and one of our post-ops, Kim

Godfrey has worked with him. Another friend of mine had surgery with him

also and he did a great job.

And if you're not opposed to travel, you might want to consider Dr.

Don in Charlotte, NC. He has done many of our patients and is extremely

well though of by many of our patients.

you the scoop and has bad surgery with him

Hi Elinor,

 

I had lunch with a friend last week who has recently had surgery for a tummy

tuck.  She was telling me how awesome her plastic surgeon is and how he makes

her feel so comfortable when she calls with her many questions.  After reading

your email below, I got his business card out of my wallet because I couldn't

recall his name.  It is Dr. Rotatori.  If you  happen to have a consult with

him, let me know how it goes.  I still have a year and half before I can have

any plastic surgery but I can already tell it will definitely be necessary.

Thanks for that reminder. I've been low on my protein intake and have to get

tested in 3 months to make sure I've got my vit. D up. I figure I've been

getting less than half what I really need in protein so I've just started

counting again to make sure I've got my protein intake up to where it's

healthiest.

Things could be better, but I am hanging in there.? Still trying to get things

back to normal at Curves after two years of construction out front, its

certainly takin its toll.? I am still hanging around 210, sometimes if I dont

pay attention it will creep up to 220 really easy.? I think the dreams of 160

are probably out of reach, but who knows maybe a miracle will happen!

I'll try and get down to one of the meetings one of these days, Sunday has been

about my only day off.

Your Welcome Joyce, I have seen alot of people have problems healing?after

surgery because their protein levels were not high enough before surgery and

dropped quickly after.? Good luck!
