Guest guest
Someone posted when I was first on the board that muscle weighs more and this is an indication that healthy living and exercise have tightened you up. So congratulations - you must be doing something right. Guest guest
that is partially true... unfortunately a size 10 is bigger now than a size 10 was in 1976 when i graduated HS. I had some size 9s stored away from the ice age-- when i was a size 8 i thought OMG!! i am smaller than i was in early HS!!! put them on.... uhhhh NO!! they were as tight as a banjo head, would not even begin to button! BIG bummer.... I bet could not even get those '76 size 9s past my knees now! S (eating sensibly these days, but watching exercise on TV and hoping to get fit by osmosis) > > > > I have wondered the same thing- except that I kept my favorite pair > of jeans > > from years ago(weight 125)- they are a size 10- and I can fit into > them- but > > they are tight- now I wear a 6-8 and I weigh 143.
