Hi Group,I'm scheduled for a CWD on 7/22 at the NY Eye and Ear Infirmary.  How do you go about getting custom made ear plugs?  I'll ask

the doctor on my next visit next week.  I've been using those gel plugs but they are a little small for the ear right now.  They sometimes popout on their own!  I'll have a wider opening after the surgery and I'll have to be even more careful with water.  I think a custom made plug

would be a good idea.  I'm also guessing they aren't cheap.  Does insurance cover the cost?  Thank you in advance for any info.  .

I think we have tried every ear plug including custom ear plugs sor my son without success until we found Joe's earplugs. They were bought out by another company. You can buy them online by googling Worlds Finest Earplugs. They are blue and made out of bees wax lanolin and cotton. You can make them as big or as small as you need and they are tacky enough to make a good seal. After years of not swimming he is enjoying the water this summer.

Good luck,
