Guest guest
Hi Faye, If you have a bike that fits you, it's easy to convert it into an exercise bike. A bike shop should have a " trainer " you can put your bike on. Basically, it is a small platform that lifts up your back wheel, balances the bike, and you can adjust the tension to make it harder or easier to pedal (in place). It also comes with a pedometer so you can see how far you've ridden. Guest guest
Faye, check out 1up Bike trainer. It's a bit expensive but I am condsidering ordering this for my New Years Resolution http://www.1upusa.com/bike_trainer.html Vertical height adjustment for any wheel size, even kids bikes. Bicycle can be lowered for level riding. Eliminates need for costly front wheel block. Other trainers require additional attachments at added cost to accommodate smaller wheels. Our trainer fits all wheel sizes from kid's 16 inch to adult 29 inch. > > Hi there everyone... > > I'm looking to buy an exercise bike, but the way that they're made > these days, it looks as though they're making them harder for LP to > reach them. > > It looks like I'm going to need a 'upright' bike but I just wondered if > anyone out there has one and can reach both the pedals and handle bars > comfortably? > > I'm 3'10.
