Guest guest
Hi there I'm new to the list, and based in the UK. My son, who is 28 months has just been diagnosed with Hypochondroplasia. Well I say diagnosed, the consultant said that he was as certain as he could be but would need x-ray to say 100%. We are waiting for the x-ray appointment. I am having trouble finding out much information about this form of dwarfism. I know that it's disproportionate, and my son will have quite a large torso, because before the gene change he was due to be quite tall, apparently. With his large torso they have an expected adult height of about 4'10 " for him. Are there people with Hypochondroplasia on the list? Can anyone put me in touch with other people with this condition? Thanks Jane
