Guest guest
I just had my baby casted this afternoon, and I can tell you with confidence that it is no big deal. Really! She didn't like it, cried and fussed a bit, but it was very quick and she had forgotten all about it by the time we got out to the car to go home, and was smiling and giggling just like usual. -----Original Message----- From: Kelli [mailto:kelmi_4@...] Sent: Monday, August 13, 2001 12:22 PM Plagiocephaly Subject: this waiting is aweful OMG, it seems like months instead of days waiting for the Insurance to respond. It's such a long process. And to top it all off I've been searching Plagio sites and have come across pictures of casting... I cryed for the poor babies crying. I know what Emmy does when she's freaking out, and I'm so NOT looking forward to it. I've read that fittings are every two weeks. I was thinking that they were every week, so this is a relief of some sort. How are you all doing? Well, from the results of her CT's, looks like her Cranial sutures are open, with a few questionable places, but all looks good, and her development is normal. So, relief of some sort is here. Now to get the approval and casting over with...sigh. Kel/ For more plagio info
Guest guest
Hi Kelli, The waiting is awful and the insurance company just seems to take their own sweet time. The casting process is not pleasant, but it is very quick and you can do a lot of diversionary things to make it easier. Take someone with you to help out - that makes it a lot easier!! Keep us posted! Marci
