Guest guest
> Is a virus larger than a bacteria molecule or is it the other way > around. A molecule is tiny structure of atoms, like a water molecule H2O which is two hydrogen atoms and an oxygen atom. Everything is made of molecules. A bacterium is a tiny one-celled organism made of trillions of molecules. A virus is made of many molecules but it is tiny compared to a bacterium. Viruses are basically little hard shells that contain molecules of DNA or RNA. Viruses have always fascinated me because they seem to be somewhere in the middle between living organisms and dead inanimate objects. They are alive only by the broadest sense of the word, in that the information in the genetic material contained inside the shell is replicated when new viruses are made in the cells of the host organism. I view them as proof that there is really no clear philosophical distinction between living things and dead things. We draw the line arbitrarily. -gts

More accurately, a virus is made of one or more molecules, but not necessarily " many molecules " . Some people even think viruses are just very complex molecules. They are a bit like self-sufficient molecules of genetic material. At this basic level the distinction between life and death is nothing more than a distinction of semantics. -gts

Guest guest
Thanks, Shay. By the way, I was at the mall Saturday clothes shopping with my daughter for Florida (I HATE to shop) and I spotted a Vitamin store so we browsed there for a while. I saw that liquid Stevia you were talking about for lip balms. It was about $10 fir maybe 2 oz. There was also a powdered stevia. Do you know what the difference is? I don't remember if we talked about the powder. -Ilion RE: quick question Vit E for antioxident. about 1/4 t or squeeze 6 capsules per 6 ozlotion bar mix. Guest guest
, I've been getting mine. Shaye quick question Remember back around 3/22/01 about (3) of us decided to subscribe to " Magazine " ? Have any of you received your first copy? I know I haven't, and feel that it should have been here by now. Let me know if any of you have received yours. Maybe I'll have to start looking into this. Especially since it's already been charged to my credit card. Guest guest
My body butter is way different from my lotion bars. My body butter has no wax of any type and melts just like real dairy butter on your skin and absorb rather quickly. My lotion bars tend to hang on the skin... this is why I say they protect... water just rolls off your skin. To me they are totally different products. My body butter I use anywhere on my body, but my lotion bar I use only on my hands, feet and knees. Hope this helps a bit, but I know there are different recipes for these and those may act differently Terri

It took about 3 minutes and she was sound asleep. She was busy today... " painted " her play house with a paint brush and a bucket of water. Have to keep her busy so I can work in the yard! Guest guest
Soap with the massage bumpy molds? Sure, add some oatmeal. For one 4 oz bar, maybe a tablespoon max. That would be a lot. Just make sure your soap cools down enough that the oatmeal will stay suspended, otherwise you'll have oatmeal layer on the bottom. I like it ground pretty fine, some people like whole oats for the look. Traci quick question > GlacierThis may be a dumb question...but I dont know alot about what I can and can't do in bath/body products so here goes ) > I have a mp soap base I'm going to make some massage bars out of....can I just add oatmeal to that to make an oatmeal scrub or is there something else I would need to do in addition to that? She claims he had not been vaccinated- I think it was before the vaccine, but I don't know how it was treated- that can make a HUGE difference. That's all I can think of. I do know of a few babies that died after dpt (they said it was from asthma in a couple cases). And this was when we lived in a really small town. Good question. Great food for thought! Guest guest
My mum was paralysed for several years after contracting polio. That was back in 1928, long before the vax was available. It was communicable at the time, and she was the only person in the entire county with polio (infantile paralysis as it was called then). Despite the doctors' best assurances, she did eventually walk again, but was disabled for the remainder of her life. Her death was unconnected with it.
