Guest guest
Well, at age 45 it is probably called " old age " . That is when the close up reading gets poor but I would check with your eye doctor ASAP. You don't want anything serious to be going on and you just think it might be the surgery. Take care of your eyes, we only get one pair to last a life time. ) God Bless you. Guest guest
Yes Vit. A is very inportant to your eyes. Your mother was right carrots are good for your eyes. So up your food with Vit. A in it, maybe have your Vit. A level checked. My was down for about 3 months and I've increased A stuff and it is back to normal. I've had a problem with Zinc too. It was to high but I was still losing hair. Now normal and I hope hair will stop falling out. Suppose to happen with you don't have enough Zinc. So who knows. Coming here and asking question is the best place to find out sometimes. Guest guest
I'm 45, and wore contact lenses before and after the surgery, with no major changes (my eyes hadn't changed in at least 15 years). I had Lasix in February of this year, and can now see better than I did with the contacts. To date, I don't need any sort of reading glasses, but it's just a matter of time -- everyone eventually gets presbyopia! If your vision changes overnight, that's probably a serious matter, particularly if you have had diabetes, which affects the microvasculature in the eyes and elsewhere. Call your PCP right away. If the change is more subtle, it may well just be normal aging, etc. Joanie 5/25/04 Drs. Guest guest
Your problem is not a vitamin deficiency it's plain old old age!!!! We all get there. Guest guest
Eat every kind of carrot there is. Fresh, cooked , frozen. I eat 2 helping a day if I can. You can also eat Sweet potoates,Yams, anything that is orange in color. Can't remember what else cause I love them all and eat more of themnow. Also have you're HA1c checked. When I was first a dibetic it bothered my eyes frist. I've got to almost quit tkaing the meds for it now that I've lost 132 lbs. Down to one very, very tiny pill. That is from 15 to one.Next trip to doctor for HA1c most likely be off of it. Ido one every 3 months to keep a check on it. Was 4.7 last time. Normal!!!! I'd do some checking on google for stuff with Vit A. in it. Google is the best. Good luck and let me know if I can be of help any more.
