Guest guest
Hi, Thank you to all that replied to my post about their experiences of cholesteatoma in both ears. When I've googled it I just get research studies of people affected by c-toma in both ears and can't find any statistics on it. No matter, we'll deal with it if ever it happens! As my daughter lost all her ossicles in her left ear with no reconstruction of them at the time of surgery, the consultant has recommended that she has a TORP op. (total ossicle replacement prosthesis) in a few years. Has anyone on here had any experience of this operation and the prosthesis? Thanks again!
