I was born in Finland and moved to Australia with my folks when I was only five-years old. I lived in Sydney for most of my young life, then had a year in Canberra before moving to Brisbane, which I believe is one of the best places to be. I've been a builder's labourer, waitress, cleaner, door-to-door salesperson, paymistress, accountant, computer programmer/trainer/sales/support person, teacher and artist. After all of that, I've settled on teaching art and am currently working out a programme for teaching tactile art to visually impaired people and am going to New York later this year to present a paper on my work.
