Guest guest
Hi everyone... Just wondering how far we are along with the Mystic plans. Any Saturday is good for me...should I throw one out there and start the biding????? For those who would travel to this event...I have been hearing that finding a hotel in the Mystic area may be difficult. As you may know the casinos are very close to Mystic so the hotels fill up fast and some require a 3 night stay. I don't know this for a fact so you may want to investigate if this applies to you. There are always places to stay...it just may not be easy to stay IN Mystic. Until then... beth anne
Guest guest
Beth anne, I think that Niki and I were thinking about doing a Sunday meeting in Sept. Saturdays are no good for me because Hubby works 6 days a week (unless I can talk him into taking a vacation day). Another option is to do this on Columbus Day Weekend so that the families joining us have more time to budget it into thier plans and the kids are out for a long weekend (for those who want to travel to join us). Jaya was nice enough to have listed the information on the Capps site for us so that we can try and get more families involved. Wow this is great what started out as just two families meeting is getting huge how cool is that. I am also checking into getting a group fee for us to do the Aquarium. I am getting so excited now. Guest guest
It was TRACY who asked him if he was simple. That is what exacerbated this. She has a lot of knowledge but lacks people skills. This is not the first time she has been in an altercation. Those of you who defend this type of behavior just encourage her to continue to berate those who disagree with her. When I taught in the inner city, this is how parents spoke to each other. So, your BP was rising over what said to him!! Go back and reread the post---I just did. Yes, it was pretty shocking!! I just cannot ignore this, because it effects the entire group, and gives the wrong impression to newcomers. In a message dated 8/14/2009 9:32:52 A.M. Guest guest
Oh Gee, I am so sorry, your right I skimmed the email and do apologize! I just hate it when people are so disrespectful to others. I know from personal experience what some meds can do to us and I can be stupid at times as well. I thankyou for setting me straight I appreciate it! Your absolutely right and I do apologize again. Thankyou Donna
Guest guest
Your right! This is nonsense! But Tracey is far from perfect as we all are and I don't care if she has helped a trillion people, she has no right to talk to others the way she does and she IS NOT the only person here who has helped many people. Calling others babies? I don't consider that very mature or caring! Guest guest
Tracey, I have marked the area below where you refered to us all being babies! Do you remember now? If you don't lack people skills then no one in the world does. I worked as a psych 2 for 30 years at a mental ins, so I do know alittle about behavior! Actually I don't lack people skills...I lack the ability to overlook ignorance...and it was HE who " threw the first stone " ...READ HIS initial two replies...my reaction was quite justified. That man openly distorted a simple one line reply and stated that I was giving bad medical advice...somethingI take VERY seriously. I have been a part of this group for almost three years and those who have beenhere this long can count on onehand the amount of times what you call an " altercaton " has happened. And since when are we not all adults who are allowed to express our opinion?>> Are we all babies<< who can't handle little disagreement? If you don't like it, delete it and stop responding. --- Babbitt what is wrong with you people? I didnt call anyone a baby!!!! I asked a question as food for thought!!!!!! Did I say " You are all being babies! " ???? --- Babbitt ________________________________ ________________________________

Guest guest
This is nonsense and not even worth replying too. gives up a lot of her spare time to help this group. Im not sure who wrote the comment saying " Have you even written a book, " but is working on a book. Im sure that this is making her wonder why she even trys to help. Lets just stop this nonsense and move on everyone. Re: Re: April > > > > In a message dated 8/13/2009 7:48:15 P.M.
