I used the varnish over some paint last time and was very worried about the smell - I am concerned about poisons/toxins affecting my little guy's developing lungs. Thanks! Guest guest
It is a water-based product and only smells a tiny bit. Nail polish remover smells more. I do not think there is a toxicity problem with the stuff. If it is toxic, Rosie O'Donnell has not noticed and she uses the stuff on her kids beds... I don't think it is. My apartment airs out in about 2 minutes, if even that long. It dries really quickly and probably even faster in a place where there is sunshine and heat. (SF in known for NOT haivng a very sunny summer.) & Maxwell San Francisco > > > , > > > WOW! What a great helmet.
