Guest guest
I am reading the excellent book Adventures in EFT, and one thing is bringing me surprising gains: She suggests that sometimes, instead of tapping on emotions or tapping on incidents, you tap directly on a statement of the problem. So instead of tapping one " being nervous when I drive " or on " that time I drove through the police station's window " , you tap on the problem you want to solve: " I feel I am a lousy driver. " I have now tapped on several of my basic problems, and to my huge surprise they all turned out to be different than I thought. When they got to zero, I had realizations that the problem was either not very bad at all, or that I was looking at it in a wrong way, or that it was not even a true statement at all! Obviously when you use a lot of energy solving the wrong problem, your energy is wasted! I hope my fellow self-improvers can use this tip, and perhaps even some of the veteran healers here. Guest guest
Hi, Somehow I feel it necessary to say that I don't feel you are ever wasting your energy or time even if you are working on the " wrong " issues or challenge. Reason being ... this is how we learn the art of delivery and also, you never know if what you were tapping on occurred in a previous life which had some residual brought to you in this life and now you've cleared it up. Just food for thought and my nature of leaning to the positive of situations.
