Guest guest
I had surgery in my r ear jan 24, doc was suppose to replace a large prostheisis with a smaller one from my ear that another doc put in 3 yrs ago. Instead My ent doc found cholest. in my entire r ear, he had to drill thru bone & remove half my ear drum & graph skin from my upper ear to rebuild the entire inside of my ear. I had been complaining of vibrations & fullness for over a year & repeated infections. My new doc just thought all the pain was coming from my prosthetis that was too large. now two weeks after surgery i have a noise that sounds like a clothes dryer in my surgery ear but my left ear which was perfect before surgery is now retracted & i have vibrations in it. the ent doc told me not to do anything & keep my surgery ear dry till 2 month check up. He isn't sure if i will regain hearing or if the noises will go away. I had ct scans but nothing showed up on them. i am praying my left ear stays good since I am deaf in the r ear for right now & maybe forever.
