Guest guest
First, I have to say I feel very fortunate to have a ped. who is taking my girl's flat head seriously. How awful for those of you whose doctors don't think it's a problem!! Using the advice I received here, I had my girl evaluated by the ped. again before the four month mark recommended by the doctor (another problem brought us to the doc earlier than scheduled). She said my girl didn't seem to have tort., but she wanted to have physical therapy due to limited range of motion. This is exactly what I was planning to ask for! My husband and I are assuming our girl will need a helmet - there seems to be no improvement during the past month and her left side is awfully flat. My question is how do we choose a doctor for treatment? Our pediatrician told us there were two doctors who could evaluate and treat for the helmet. One is more convenient geographically, but I don't think we should base our decision soley on that. Any advice for how we should choose? If anyone is from Massachusetts, I would be interested in knowing who is treating your child and how satisfied you have been. Robin's Mom, Laurie Upton, Mass.
