Just click on the product name on the left side of the page and it will show you the ingredients. I do not have the quantities of each ingredient. Experience, Daily Complete and the Pure Gardens Cream will be listed in the 2004 Canadian Compendium of Pharmaceuticals and Specialties. Now to senna. Senna has 1 constituent, senicide, not more. It has the property of elimination, like rhubarb root, but it has been softened in the Experience. It also has anti-aging properties and was found in the tomb with Cleopatra's body. If it is balanced to the 4 body types, you can take it longer than preparations that haven't been balanced. Ahmed prepares his herbs before putting them into a recipe, so even as a name of a herb appears on the label, the type of preparation isn't reflected, such as in marinating or fermentaion of a herb before use. Most herbal mixtures using senna, according to the FDA, have 80-160mg of senicide. At the level of 160mg the product must have a warning. The amount of senicide in Experience is 3.7mg. It is important to note that the type of senna used in North America is unlike the herb from the middle east. Apparently, one of the things done to the senna here is to " spike " the senna with calcium to pump up the senicide level in order to get the laxative feeling. Awareness, of course, doesn't do that. Important as it is to know what the ingredients are in any product, of more value is to be able to understand and trust the knowledge and wisdom of the herbalist. Ingredients are only part of any product. How those ingredients are handled, prepared and the timing of their introduction to the product is almost more important. Ahmed oversees the growth, harvesting, shipping of and storage of all his herbs. Most are kept in separate rooms untill they are ready to be introduced to the product. The recipe of Harmony takes 6 weeks to put together. Also, Ahmed is the only herbalist that I have ever met, who has the ability to balance a product completely so that it will not create imbalance in the body with continued use. A herb by itself can be a risky thing to use longterm, but a blended recipe such as those that Ahmed makes will balance the body always. Ahmed told me himself that he spent 2 years, at least, researching senna because he knew it was a valuable herb, but not the way it was being used in North America. He also said that he would only ever use an ingredient that he was certain would enhance his products. I trust him implicitly.
