Guest guest
OK I got to see it this morning. Even if it is only temporarily temporary. -100 I fluctuate within a range of 3 lbs from day to day but this is the very first time I have seen that number J It is even more important to me today because I have been struggling with how slow the loss has been over the last 3 months. I have gone back to exact record keeping to see if I am really doing it right or if I have been kidding myself lately. I think that’s a good idea from time to time. ANYWAY it felt good to finally see that number. Quite a ways to go yet but it gives new hope to the journey. Also, I was a jeweler for 10 years so regarding the re-sizing of rings…….a majority can be re-sized. If there are channel set stones or multi colored stones there can be a problem and some can’t be done. If the ring has great sentimental value, however, all is not lost because the stones can be removed and set into a new setting. This whole process of “remounting” can have a whole exciting life of it’s own celebrating the new you (end of commercial for the jewelry business). In any event you should not resize it until you reach and maintain your goal because with many rings there is a fatigue in constant resizing. There are spacers that can be inserted in the meanwhile. My wedding ring has a full carat of channel set diamonds (hey, I was a jeweler long before I became a computer wrangler!) I lovingly refer to that ring as my “pimp” ring. The second time it fell off and it took an hour to find my wife took it from me and I won’t get it back until things stabilize, probably in a year or so. Regarding NSVs I gotta tell you,,, It wasn’t my “boobs” sticking out past my stomach that made me happy J Too graphic? Live with it. J OK. I’m a little giddy for having seen the new number so I’ll stop before I get in real trouble. Everyone have a great day, I’m gonna.
