Guest guest
Dear all,  Following on from Fred's email, for those of you who do not know me, my name is Randa Gowiely. I have a 16 year old brother called Ahmed who has Achondroplasia and we know firsthand just how difficult it was to get clothes to fit him. We have either had to pay large amounts of money for the prospect of made to measure clothes, that frankly, may still not fit well as the clothesmakers we used just didnt understand restricted growth or we paid more money to get clothes altered and even then, they often were not altered very well.  I decided to do something about this and set up Ideal Fit LTD. Our mission statement is simple.Ideal Fit aims to make a positive difference by leading the way in providing quality, stylish & well-cut clothes that fit & look great. Ideal Fit’s Vision rests firmly on its values of superior quality, exceptional service, innovation, creativity, fun & of course an Ideal Fit!  I attach some testimonials from some of the clients I have worked with so far to assure you of the high standards we aspire to achieve and our website is due to go live very soon. In the meantime, if anyone requires any garments made to measure or altered, we can help you and we provide a fantastic service exclusively for you every step of the way. We have successfully fulfilled orders for men, women and children and we work with all kinds of fabrics. Because I have an in depth understanding of restricted growth, this ensures I am able to deliver a service second to none. Even my choice of fabrics is a high consideration. Not only do I supply what is requested (if there is a preference) by way of fabric choice, colour/shade and consistency, but all of my fabrics are of the highest quality and are specifically sourced for their breathable and durable qualities to ensure comfort to the recipient.  There was a very steep learning curve as whilst my background was business and psychology related. I am not from the clothesmaking industry, however I now only work very closely with experienced and expert garment makers who are highly skilled and work within the clothesmaking industry. I have a fantastic team in place and whilst they are strategically based throughout the UK, this ensures geographically and cost effectively, I can pass on the savings to my clients.  You can provide us with a sketch or a picture of what you would like recreated or you can give us a garment to alter for you. You can even ask us to design something just for you! We are currently creating a wedding dress for a wonderfully eccentric wedding in Vegas! We have created school uniforms, bridesmaid dresses, male suits, special occasion wear, denim jeans and dresses for young girls.  We have hosted a fashion show for the last two years at the annual RGA convention and pictures will be available on our website very soon.  In the meantime, If you have any questions or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact me on randa@... 07862 234 992. Our website which is due to go live shortly is www.idealfit.co.uk  I look forward to hearing from you and meeting you all.  Kind Regards, Randa Ideal Fit ________________________________ From: Fred Short <Fred@...> Dwarfism List <dwarfism >; shortlist Sent: Tue, 8 February, 2011 8:47:13 Subject: [shortlist] What are your vital statistics?  A relative in the States, is contemplating making clothes for small statured people. I however do not have much contact with many little people. I know and communicate with a total of about 3...I was wondering if you would be willing to send an email to some of your short statured friends and ask if they would be willing to send me an email with their age, heigth, waist measurement, hip and thigh measurements. If you do they can send it to minipower2006@... They don't have to say their name or any details. I just want measurements.

Guest guest
Moderator Note: My heartfelt apologies for the inconvenience, but those before me established some excellent rules with very good reasons, and one is attachments with messages are not allowed...partly, because our Dwarfism Group used to be more active, and also, for your safety. Unfortunately, with the huge increasing amount of hacking and spam we are encountering, besides the offensive messages we get, this is needed. However, it is obvious to me Randa does not fall in these categories, is sincere, and clearly can benefit many of us. Now then, Randa, and those interested in seeing ASAP her testimonials, etc., prior to her website being ready, I ask that for now, you please do so privately. Though Randa, I will be happy to include the link to your website in our link section, and assist you with posting any photos you may want to include in our Photo Section. This also applies to ALL members here, with a sincere interest or desire in helping LP's with our " fashion challenges. " Many thanks everyone, for your patience and understanding, Adelaide Apologies for the missing attachment and everyone else! It was in my sent folder as attached so not sure what happened but here goes.... Please let me know if you need any other information! Kind Regards, Randa ________________________________ From: Burton <aburton4@...> rgowiely@...
