The whole point of EFT is to do a general overhaul of the entire energy system each time you use it. If I recall correctly, TFT (Thought Field Therapy) did something similar to what your asking about. This therapy had a set of algorythms that dealt with individual issues. However, it's very expensive to the average everyday person to get into. With EFT your covering all the major meridians when you tap on the basic 7 points (EB thru UA). As long as you focus on the problem, with special attention paid to specificity, you accomplish the same thing as TFT in a much shorter timeframe.
