Guest guest
Hi everyone. I am back :-( just found out that another c-toma has grown back. This time behind the ear drum in my right ear. I am very upset and really struggling with having to do this all over again. I was just gaining my strength back as it has only been 6 months since the last 2 surgeries. The surgeon did a CWD in my last surgery and said this time he could go through the ear opening rather than behind the ear making recovery much quicker and lessening the chances of getting an infection post surgery. In 2006 I got MRSA from a local hospital so keeping infections out of my system is vital to my health. Has anyone had surgery through the ear opening rather than behind the ear and if so what was the recovery time like? Is it easy for them to see in the ear this way compared to opening it up? I guess I am just freaked that in a few months I might be told it has come back again and will have to go through this again. I am a big baby when it comes to medical stuff. Is anyone willing to share their story with having surgery through the ear rather than the surgeon going behind the ear and what it was like for them?? Thanks,
