Matt had two brothers, Sam and Josh, as well as a sister, Ruth. Sam

is an LP, like Matt, Ruth and were APs. passed away a

couple years ago due to a heart condition.

The whole Roloff clan camped out at our house in 1970 when we are all

little kids during the Portland LPA conference. Like Matt and Sam, my

brothers and I (all three of us) are diastrophics. We had seven kids,

five dwarfs and two APs, all between the ages of 5-10 tearing up my

parent's house.

We've known the Roloff's for 38 years, and like all " reality " shows,

what you see isn't always what you get. But, Sam is nice (but quiet)

guy and Peggy and Ron did a good job raising their kids.

What are the genetics behind diastrophic dwarfism that AP parents would have

2 or 3 children with the same condition?
