Got this other one from today, his 1 year anniversary isn't

until December but I made a mistake He is from Arizona and not in

our group but I thought I'd share his mail with you.

Hi Nina:

My one year testimonial is that the Band operation probably saved my

life. My health is much improved, I have lost 80 pounds and feel

much better. There is no way in the world I could have lost this

weight on my own. The advantages of the LapBand compared to the

bypass are endless. I think I made a wise choice and have no regrets

for choosing the Band and think Dr. Aceves and his team are superb.

The latest adjustment has made life much easier as food passes with

less discomfort or reflux. The weight loss has slowed down simply

because I am able to eat more. Things have stabilized and I am

pleased with the loss thus far and dont mind holding here for awhile

and letting my body catch up with the weight loss. Early next year I

will go back on a " Diet " and narrow the Band for another session of

strict eating patterns. How nice to know my future " Diets " will work

and I wont regain the weight. See you early next year for a re-

adjustment.

Thanks for you concern. The holidays are upon us and it is nice to

know that I wont gain 20 pounds as in the past. Six tamales and all

the rest was my normal portion, and now one is plenty. What a

change.
